Super Hero’s protecting Perth & Kinross!
We had an action packed block in October carefully completed by our Rugby Nippers “Superhero’s”. They were especially dedicated to their Superhero studies – learning how to run like a superhero in a zig zag, walking like spiderman and playing loads of Spiderman ripper tag games. Spiderman ripper tag means our nippers had to walk around on their hands and feet, chasing coach James and either ripping James’ tags off or, if James was fast enough to get his revenge and take his opportunity, he sneakily grabbed the little Nippers tags. Unfortunately, James was well and truly beaten 😉
Our learning theme this block was to take on the challenge of sharing. Throughout our sessions the little nippers had to hand or pass a rugby ball to each other and learn about what sharing meant. It was fab to see that all of our little Nippers did really well at – sooner or later!
One off our final sessions fell on Halloween and Rugby Nippers hosted a Halloween party which all our nippers fully got involved as we made it all about fun, fun, fun!!! They were pirates looking for treasure and running around forests in Scone and Kinross. I have to say a special thank you to my wife for making sugar free cupcakes for everyone and to one of our Rugby Nipper mums, Linsey, who baked biscuits with the help of her son Harry for all the Mini Nippers in Scone. They were delicious and just what some spooky nippers needed at the end of a hard rugby session!
